Pharmacy leaders development programme: Apply here

There are 2 places available for pharmacists in NI on cohort 11 which begins in February 2026. Online applications for Cohort 11 are now open and can be made by completing this application form. Please make sure you have completed and submitted your application form, your personal statement and your CV.

NICPLD will hold an information webinar on 18 December 2025 at 7pm to explain more about the programme and the application process for pharmacists in NI.

Aim

Information webinar to introduce the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s pharmacy leaders development programme and describe the application process for pharmacists in Northern Ireland.

Learning outcomes

Objectives:
  • Explain the purpose and structure of the programme
  • Describe key insights from the Welsh experience including alumni reflections
  • Outline the steps and key criteria for applying to the programme as a pharmacist in Northern Ireland

The closing date for applications to join cohort 11 will be midday on Monday 12 January 2026. Late applications will not be considered. You will be notified of the outcome by midday on Wednesday 14 January 2026 and asked to respond to your offer by midday on Friday 16 January 2026.
