The Royal College of Pharmacy (formerly the RPS) is currently updating the Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist curriculum into a new Enhanced Pharmacy Practice curriculum, which is due to be published in September 2026. A new NICPLD Enhanced Pharmacy Practice (EPP) programme for qualified prescribers will start in January 2027 and will replace the current Post-reg Foundation Programme (PRFP).

EPP applications will open on 7th October 2026 with a closing date of 12 noon on Wednesday 25th November 2026. The EPP face-to-face induction day will take place on Wednesday 13th January 2027.
