Aim
By reviewing the current management of eczema, psoriasis and acne, develop the competence required to deliver a comprehensive medicines management service to patients with these conditions.

Intended learning outcomes
Having completed this workshop you should be able to:

• describe the signs and symptoms associated with eczema, psoriasis and acne
• recognise the impact of these diseases on an individual
• define the place of emollients, topical corticosteroids and other immunosuppressants in therapy
• outline recent advances in the management of eczema and psoriasis
• advise patients on recommended strategies to manage their conditions to maximum effect.
