Aim
To equip participants to provide optimal advice in relation to the use of inhaler devices for the management of respiratory conditions.

Intended learning outcomes
Having completed this workshop you should be able to:

• advise on the importance of good inhaler technique in relation to drug delivery
• identify the common mistakes in relation to inhaler technique
• assess inhaler technique for a range of devices
• educate patients to use their inhalers for optimum effect.
