Aim
By the development of the necessary competence, equip pharmacists to deliver a comprehensive medicines management service to patients with asthma.

Having completed this workshop you should be able to:

• describe the clinical presentation of asthma
• assess the severity of the condition
• provide advice on the management of asthma, including acute exacerbations
• monitor the effectiveness of therapy
• support patients in self-management.
