Aim
To enable pharmacists to use haematological tests to monitor patients and make appropriate recommendations regarding treatment of anaemias.

Intended learning outcomes
Having completed this workshop you should be able to:

• discuss the causes, signs and symptoms of anaemia;
• interpret haematological lab tests; and
• make recommendations for appropriate management of anaemias.
