Aim
To support staff in the implementation of the standards, practices and quality assurance guidelines relating to the aseptic preparation and dispensing of medicines.

Intended learning outcomes

  • undertake internal audits against the new aseptic standards (QAAPS5)
  • prepare effectively for external audits
  • identify the key elements of a modern pharmaceutical quality system
  • maintain and monitor an effective pharmaceutical quality system
  • undertake an impact assessment for change control and appreciate the importance of this in wider pharmaceutical quality system/
