Aim
To enable participants to implement the Health + model of public health and deliver this service through their pharmacy.

Intended learning outcomes
Having completed this workshop you will be able to:

• describe the role and ethos of a Health + pharmacy
• recognise how Health+ fits into the wider Health Service agenda
• understand factors contributing to health inequalities
• implement the aspects of leadership to make the service effective within your community
• identify the communication skills that are effective in communicating health messages
• outline how individuals can be effectively motivated to change their behaviour
• effectively engage with your community.
