Aim
To provide doctors, dentists, nurses and pharmacists with the background information about medication-related patient safety and the actions and tools necessary to promote and develop safety in the use of medicines within their practice.
Intended learning outcomes
After completing this course you will be able to:

- Describe the developments of patient safety priorities and the role of medicines governance in healthcare;
- Promote the reporting and investigating of medication incidents as a means to improving patient safety;
