Aim
This course aims to provide healthcare professionals with an understanding of the current evidence base in relation to the medical management of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.

• outline the medical management of inflammatory bowel disease;
• explain the adverse effects of drugs use to manage inflammatory bowel disease.
